English Translation
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

When they come I will stand my ground
Stand my ground Ill not be afraid

Thoughts of home take away my fear
Sweat and blood hide my veil of tears

Once a year say a prayer for me
Close your eyes and remember me

Never more shall I see the sun
For I fell to a Germans gun

Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone
Lay me down in the cold cold ground
Where before many more have gone

Where before many more have gone

In memory of Sgt. Charles Stuart MacKenzie
Seaforth Highlanders
Who along with many others gave up his life
So that we can live free

We will remember them

Better is relative

“Better” is a relative and subjective opinion made by someone based on their personal assumptions.

Is Apple better than Microsoft?

Your assumptions on what you think to be a good computer/tablet/audio player/phone, etc. will determine your answer.

There is no absolute, just opinion.

If you own a business, focusing on being “better” than your competitors is a short-sighted approach.

Some people, no matter what you say or do, will not think you are better and will take their business to a competitor.

This is to be expected. Some will. Some won’t. So what? Someone is waiting.

Your approach to business will attract a certain clientele and your SOLE goal should be how to better serve THEM.

Go Big!

People generally make two types of mistakes: mistakes of action and mistakes of indecision.

Mistakes made in the former scenario are rarely ever irreversible or irreparable, but usually scary. Mistakes made in the latter are often never even realized.

Realizing a dream can never happen without massive action will usually elicit a good amount of fear.

Do it anyway.

Have you considered quitting your job to pursue a new business idea?

What would happen if that new idea failed?

If it did, could you get your old job back or one similar? Would you lose your home or not be able to put food on the table if the absolute worse case scenario happened?

Doubtful.

Instead of letting the fear of “what could happen” if you made a decision of action plague you, play out the worse case scenario.

Odds are it really isn’t as bad as you think.

So stop whining and GO BIG!
